Full terms and conditions

SMA® Nutrition reserves the right to amend the Rewards programme at a future date, and the terms and conditions at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

The Promoter takes data protection seriously. By entering this promotion, you confirm that you have read the Promoter’s Privacy Policy and agree to these Terms and Conditions of the promotion. By submitting any information required as part of their participation into the campaign, participants agree to their information being held and processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  1. The Promotion is open to UK residents and excludes employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected to the Promotion. The promotion started on 15.08.2019 and will end at 23:59 on 31.12.2022.
  2. Participants must be aged 18 or over.
  3. Participants may continue to claim the offer on the products as outlined below until 31.12.2022, or when their child reaches three years old, whichever is sooner. Closing date for final uploading of till receipts showing qualifying purchases is 23:59 on 31.12.2022. Claims can be made as follows:
    • Welcome offer SMA® PRO Follow-on Milk 800g £5 cashback after 1st tin purchase;
    • Welcome offer SMA® ADVANCED Follow-on Milk 800g £5 cashback after 1st tin purchase;
    • Standard offer SMA® PRO Follow-on Milk 800g £5 for every 3rd tin purchased;
    • Standard offer SMA® ADVANCED Follow-on Milk 800g £5 for every 3rd tin purchased;
    • Welcome offer SMA® PRO Growing Up Milk 800g £5 cashback after 1st tin purchase;
    • Welcome offer SMA® ADVANCED Growing Up Milk 800g £5 cashback after 1st tin purchase;
    • Standard offer SMA® PRO Growing Up Milk 800g £5 for every 3rd tin purchased;
    • Standard offer SMA® ADVANCED Growing Up Milk 800g £5 for every 3rd tin purchased;

    Growing Up Milk Welcome Offers are also valid for SMA® Baby Club Rewards users who are transitioning from SMA® Follow-on Milk to SMA® Growing Up Milk. Each Welcome Offer can be claimed only once.

    N.B. For the Standard Offers, three tins of the same product must be purchased, either in a single transaction or separately. The offer cannot be claimed until the third tin has been purchased. Valid till receipt(s) will be required showing each such purchase.

  4. Upon successful uploading of qualifying till receipts the Promoter’s agent will process and pay the cashback to the PayPal or BACs account as shown on the participants original registration form. In the event of the participants PayPal or BACs details changing during the promotion, the participant may amend their account details by following the instructions in the SMA® Baby Club Rewards offer page. Cashback payments will be via PayPal or BACs only to the original registered member. No cash, cheques, vouchers or other methods of payment, in cash or in kind, will be available.
  5. In the event of any technical problems with the cashback redemption/submission etc. the participant should contact contact+partners@shopmium.com directly using the contact tools available within the SMA® Baby Club Rewards platform.
  6. The Promotion is only available on packs of SMA® Follow-on and Growing Up Milks as outline in paragraph 3 above for purchases made from 15.08.2019. The scheme will end on 31.12.2022 and no further receipts or applications will be accepted after this date.
  7. To enter, participants are required to:
    • Visit www.smababy.co.uk
    • Register for the SMA® Baby Club, and then log-in on the website to view their online rewards offer gallery found on https://babyclub.smababy.co.uk/rewards/.
    • Scan or photograph their till receipt showing the purchase of a qualifying product and upload to their rewards page. Valid till receipts must clearly show the name of the store where purchased, the date of the purchase, the correct product has been purchased, the number of purchases made, and the total value of those purchases. Any till receipt submitted without these details clearly visible may be deemed invalid and not processed for payment.
    • Participants will be required to provide the following information in order to register:
      • Their full name
      • Email address
      • Whether they are pregnant
      • If they have any children under 3 years old
      • children's DOB
      • Choose to opt in to receiving offers, news, competitions, surveys, product information for babies from 6 months, and other communications personalised to the stage of your pregnancy and to your baby’s needs from SMA® Baby Club.
      • Their bank account number or Paypal ID to receive the cashback
  8. In the event of the specified information is not provided the registration will be considered incomplete and the participant will be unable to upload their receipts or participate further in the promotion.
  9. Till receipts required showing the purchase of qualifying products purchased during the stated promotional period. Internet access, a Smart Phone/PC, or other device for photographing or scanning till receipts and uploading them to the special Online Loyalty website is required to enter into the Promotion.
  10. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any submitted till receipts that:
    • Are out of focus/blurry
    • Do not have the correct products clearly visible
    • Are old, out of date or fall outside of the stated promotional period
    • That show store locations in geographical locations outside the stated promotional area
    • Are duplicates of the same till receipt
  11. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be attempting to circumvent this clause by tampering with or altering till receipts. Any attempts to submit any invalid till receipts may result in the participant’s account being frozen and possibly deleted.
  12. There are no cash or other alternatives available, in whole or in part.
  13. Limitations of liability: Neither the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected to the Promotion, assume any responsibility or liability for:
    • Any incorrect or inaccurate data, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions.
    • Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regards to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this Promotion.
    • Inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the website or any combination thereof.
    • Regretfully, we cannot be held liable for system failures on the website.
  14. Conduct of entry/participation: Participants/Entrants of the Promotion agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any participant/entrant found to be tampering with the code redemption process or the operation of the Promotion.
  15. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be attempting to tamper with the operation of the promotion by setting up multiple accounts, using multiple identities or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Promoter to be in violation of the terms and conditions; or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Promoter to be disruptive.
  16. Bulk, trade or third party applications are not permitted and will be disqualified.
  17. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all matters.
  18. Data Protection: The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and the auditing of the applications where necessary and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent and you have opted-in to receive future marketing communications.   19. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction.

Important notice

We believe that breastfeeding is the ideal nutritional start for babies and we fully support the World Health Organization’s recommendation of exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life followed by the introduction of adequate nutritious complementary foods along with continued breastfeeding up to two years of age. We also recognise that breastfeeding is not always an option for parents. We recommend that you speak to your healthcare professional about how to feed your baby and seek advice on when to introduce complementary feeding. If you choose not to breastfeed, please remember that such a decision can be difficult to reverse and has social and financial implications. Introducing partial bottle-feeding will reduce the supply of breast milk.

SMA® PRO Follow-on Milk/SMA® ADVANCED Follow-on Milk are only suitable for babies over 6 months as part of a mixed diet. It should not be used as a substitute for breast milk during the first 6 months of life. The decision to start weaning or to use this product before 6 months, should be made only on the advice of a doctor, midwife, health visitor, public health nurse, dietitian or pharmacist, based on baby’s individual needs.

SMA® PRO Growing Up Milk/SMA® ADVANCED Growing Up Milk are suitable for young children from 1-3 years, as part of a healthy balanced diet and it is not a breast milk substitute.
